These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the CentriFood mobile application ("Application"), developed by Chung Yin Wan ("Service Provider"). By downloading, installing, or using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement referenced below. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.

By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Application, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), that you have read these Terms, and that you accept them in full. If you are using the Application on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Your use of the Application is also governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. In case of a conflict between these Terms and the Standard EULA, these Terms control to the extent permitted by applicable law.
You acknowledge that the Standard EULA is a contract between you and the Service Provider, not Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the Application or its content. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of the Standard EULA and has the right to enforce it against you.

Subject to these Terms and the Standard EULA, the Service Provider grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Application on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the Application, except to the extent such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law.

Certain features require you to sign in with a supported identity provider (Apple or Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify the Service Provider promptly of any unauthorized use or security breach.
You may delete your account at any time from within the Application. Account deletion is irreversible and results in the removal of associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.

The Application lets you save, organize, and share content including restaurant names, notes, photos, comments, and recommendations ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content, you grant the Service Provider a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Application and to share it with other users as you direct (for example, through shared lists, chat messages, or recommendations).
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent that you have the necessary rights to submit it and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.
The Service Provider does not pre-screen User Content but reserves the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

The Application offers optional in-app purchases, including one-time tips and an auto-renewable "Supporter" subscription, processed through the Apple App Store. Apple's terms govern all billing, refunds, and renewals.
Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Tips are consumable and non-refundable once delivered.
Features gated to Supporter subscribers may change over time. The Service Provider will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect the value of an existing subscription.

The Application integrates with third-party services, including Google Places, Firebase (Google Cloud), and Anthropic Claude, for features such as location search, data synchronization, and link parsing. Your use of those features is also subject to the applicable third-party terms. The Service Provider is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.

The Application, including its source code, design, graphics, logos, and the "CentriFood" name, is owned by the Service Provider and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

THE APPLICATION IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING OUT OF COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
Restaurant information, ratings, and recommendations surfaced in the Application are provided for convenience only and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE PROVIDER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.
The Service Provider's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Application will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid the Service Provider in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD $10.

You may stop using the Application at any time. The Service Provider may suspend or terminate your access to the Application, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if continued provision becomes unlawful or impractical. Upon termination, the license granted to you ends immediately; sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

The Service Provider may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms take effect when posted at this URL. Material changes will be communicated through the Application or by updating the "Effective" date above. Your continued use of the Application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service Provider resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
